Moving to Maine
Hey there.
I'm moving to Maine from Colorado, so I'm used to walking down the street and going into any dispensary I want... but I cannot find a single listing for a Maine dispensary, although I hear rumors of them and whatnot. If any of you can help me find one, well that would be just keen ^_^

Moving to Maine
hey there! I'm moving to maine from Denver later on this summer too. i've been doing a little bit of research on the cannabis culture in maine. here's what i've discovered: There's no registration fee for obtaining a medical marijuana license in the state of maine...the laws are a little similar to the one's active in the mile high state right now. This website really helped me out: ASA : Becoming a Patient in Maine
Also there are NO dispensaries. wow, i know right?! Headshops, yes. Dispensaries, no. When i was in maine for spring break the weed strains were a bit different from Colorado's. While we categorize our cannabis by color, smell, sativa/indica blend, remedy, etc, Maine only has four categories they put their cannabis under: "dank" "middies" "shwag" and some other name I forget at the moment. I paid $30 for an 1/8 of "dank". I know what you're thinking, "What a great fucking price!". eh not so much. Even though my weed came from a indoor grower from south portland, it was wet with a wet odor (not the good skunky smell but the musty wet moldy smell), had wayyyyyyyyyy to many seeds, and burned super quick.
I was only in Maine for about 4 days so I'm hoping when I become a resident of that state I'll be able to find super dank bud that's Colorado quality. I heard the bud in Maine really isn't that bad so it cant be hard to come by...hopefully that's true for us!
Where are you moving to? I rambled a lot but I really hope this helps!

Hey i just wanted to enlighten you on your worries! If you got a bag of danks for 30 it wasn't dank, especially considering the seeds you had found in it! No worries though its here but will run about 20 more for an 1/8 but always good! as for the shops i've yet to hear of them but supposedly there comming? I live in Old orchard Beach about 15 mins from s.portland and theres been an abundant supply of cheese and kush strains as well as some others, some w widow but im not too sure about it found a seed or two an an oz which i was happy! pretty much here medicinal patients have the right to grow themselves for now untill the shops come in, and i really hope thats soon!....
