Safe, Inexpensive Ozone Generator

former grower here, just looking through some of my old stuff... first off let me say i am not associated with this company or product in anyway.

with that said, i did buy several and used them quite efficiently... i have tested them with ozone test strips and they are safe for indoor use.

i used them in cabinets. i exhausted into a small separated chamber of the cabinet where the ozone generator had a chance to do it's thing before being pushed across a layer of activated carbon... only thing i ever grew that you could smell was afghani. every other strain was covered by this little device

they could probably be used just as efficiently in a closet of bedroom...

price is a little more now than when i used to grow, but still reasonable if you ask me...

how big was your cabinet and how many cfm of air was that ozone thing working on?

Im currently growing 7 small plants and am looking for some affordable and effective (have neighbors that are close) odor scrubbing.

Im currently growing 7 small plants and am looking for some affordable and effective (have neighbors that are close) odor scrubbing.

the grow chamber in the cabinet was roughly 15 cubic feet, but the air scrubbing/cleaning chamber was was only about 5 cubic feet. the cfm was overwhelming for the cabinet, a pc fan pushing about 50 cfm. the grow chamber had negative pressure with a passive intake. the air cleaning chamber had positive pressure with a passive exhaust. the passive exhaust contained about 2 inches of activated carbon to pass through and was quite a large opening (a little larger than 1 sq foot).

between the ozone generator and carbon scrubber it worked for all but one strain as already mentioned.

so in reality the ozone generator probably only had about 8-10 seconds to do it's thing, but it did very well... of course, the carbon helped as well...

i am currently designing a 3' x 5' room and i intend on using 1 or 2 of these to cover that 120 cubic feet. 2 is probably overkill so i will just do a little testing to make sure...
