I couldn't get the online version to work with my IE (probably beacause of my security settings inside IE ) but there is also an option to download it and run it manually. p.s. If you are using XP and keep up to date on security updates you should have already downloaded the malware protector and it should have already scanned your computer last time you updated, but it never hurts to do it twice.
