Its true, cfls dont penetrate for shit ! Im buying some side lighting next week in the form of Red leds. Its a cheap panel but it may promote growth lower down but ye ill let you know if it works and maybe you can try it out aswell !

I also grow to avoid shitty street weed aswell Here lots of it has glass grown into it or still has fertilisers left in it. Not nice at all ! Better to grow my own for my health !
