promoting vertical growth
I created a rather small but tall grow area, it is 20inch by 70inch and about 6 ft tall. My last crop was my first, and i only let the plants get about 2 feet tall, but the growth was so dense that the bottom half never got any light, therefore didnt really flower. I am a few weeks into my next crop, and again the plans are growing very compact. I have a 400w and great reflection, but this strain is suppose to grow vertical, no topping.
My question is, how can get these plants (4) to grow more vertically and get buds the whole way down? What is the proper way to trim some of these leaves blocking large amounts of light to the lower section of the plant? ... or should i be using some sort of LST method and forget the vertical space?Zompton Reviewed by Zompton on . promoting vertical growth I created a rather small but tall grow area, it is 20inch by 70inch and about 6 ft tall.
