Bipolar Disorder I am 24 and have recently been diagnosed with Bipolar II Disorder and had been a daily smoker up until the onset of my first bought of mnia. Now I am reluctant to smoke bud in fear that it will cause me to have a manic or depressive episode. Is there anyone out there who has used bud successfully? Please elaborate and share any studies that you may have come across. Rating: 5

This thread seems very enlightning to me. I have a question, anyone take ritlin with prozac? I suffer from depression and ritlin gives energy so I wouldn't fall asleep during the day. I hate taking the med but it seems that is only thing that helps me. Pot slows my thinking so I'm more reflective of my actions.

so ritalin is dangerous drug all the people are talking about? I don't like taking it, it gives me a headache without feeling good. But that keeps me awake. I would never let anyone give my kids medicine. Most of the time I let them go without the med for small thing as cold. anyway i'm 39, what other side affect does ritalin have?

i am not a doctor and all i have is my own expierience growing up in the ritalin generation.

ritalin was my introduction to speed and hard drugs.after taking it by mouth for a couple of months i learned you could snort the shit.the feeling you get is very,very similar to cocaine but lasts alot longer like meth.when i was taken off it i did not feel normal for about a year,it was horrible.kids sell ritalin in school and college just like coke.

Reuptake inhibitor type drugs are dangerous.

They cause brain damage that can sometimes be permanent.

They make you stupid

I would be very carfull taking ritalin ,prozac or cocaine.

Taking these drugs increases your risk of permanent mentall illness ten fold.
