Shoot! My clones are starting to grow flowers in veg!
Well I did a bad thing. My clones are flowering too soon. I had them under 24 hours flourescent lights. I accidentally turned off the lights for probably 5 hours and sure enough, they are starting to flower. Its week 3 and I have mostly rooted clones. Any tips on what to do?
I was going to put them under HPS lights for about 4 weeks of vegging. What do you think, have I ruined their chances of growing properly? What about removing the flowers from the plant, does that help them revert back to a veg state?morrisong Reviewed by morrisong on . Shoot! My clones are starting to grow flowers in veg! Just be extra careful or use timers

It took more than just 5 hours to make them flower.
How old is the parent to these clones ?
It makes more sense that you have taken clones from a mature mother and you are just seeing perflower. They do this no matter what when a mother reaches a certain age.
It is nothing to worry about and I bet it just barely slows them down.
Seen it many times.

I agree with Loc Nar.
Clones are mature as soon as they have roots, so it CAN be flowered right away (unlike a seed). However it takes 10+ hours of dark, for the chemicals (hormones) to build up enough to trigger flowering. So five hours wouldn't do that.
My guess is the same as above,.. Your seeing PRE-flowers on your nodes.
