Admittedly, as an anarchist, I don't have much faith in the voting process and it directly contradicts my philosophical position however, I will happily vote for candidates like Ron Paul who promote freedom. like i said b4 all that has been done over and over and still nothing.btw name the last time a common person that has no ties to gov has been elected to a seat or office?also if ya don't know which you should by this point.our votes mean squat ever heard of this?

if so then you must know everything you said above is a waste of time?never mind you just keep thinking your fighting the good fight...even tho it's just spinning your wheels.

It is a fact this is the situation we are currently in, but when we simply roll over and accept it, tyranny wins. Simply because the road to change is difficult, does not mean it should not be attempted. I will continue to debate these issues with people in the hope more realize government intervention is detrimental to this nation. who is rolling over? i keep seeing you write this nonsense name 1 post where i state this bs?

As I said before, the best way to attempt to change the situation is the change the mindset of the voters. again waste of time.but like i said b4 keep on keeping on and see where it gets ya.btw the prez is just a figure head nothing more.the put in office the person that can lie the best atm for the topics at hand.

Thomas Paine was a major part in changing the colonies attitude towards Britain with his pamphlet. To say you can never change anything is cynical and without merit. History has taught us nations rise and fall constantly, regimes change, and not all revolutions have to be violent. Accepting your fate surely won't change anything, some of us however are at least trying.
again you seem to insist on insinuating that i am a defeatist of sorts sorry but like red you are so wrong.im just pointing out facts about what has and will work.all the talking does nada sorry.and btw what ended up happening with the colonies and britain?did they all just write each other letters and shake hand and all was good in the end?see you are just trying to point out a tiny little bit of the story.when in fact it took much much more than letters and words.

I fundementally disagree with taxes and there is no reason there should be a fee. It is a better proposal than a no nonsense approach to immigration though.

Again, why did the company hire the forign workers? To maxamize profits. If the government weren't taxing them the way the do, increase expenses with regulations, etc, perhaps more employers would be more willing and more able to hire local workers. I can't say for certain, however eliminating government control would make that a more likely possiblility. i was pointing out the problem of corse it is to max profits,im just showing how america has been sold to the highest bidder.and writing a letter and shaking your fist will do nothing.in the near future you will see this and say wow talking and voting really does nothing and now they are at my door.wait till the carbon tax hits ya.im sure you will talk yourself into thinking it's a good thing to be tax for the air you breath.i remember as a kid making jokes about it and everyone thought it was absurd.

It lowers our cost on goods because the company can produce their product at a much cheaper rate. Factories in third world contries benifit both parties. The western factories pay a higher wage than the local factories in the area, but that wage is still far lower than what they would pay western workers. Hence, the goods are cheaper to produce, and therefor cheaper for the consumer. ever heard you get hwta ya pay for?

People go where the jobs are, if the unemployment rate were to high, people would not want to immigrate to this nation. There is no point in moving to a country for work if their is no work to go around.

The fact is there are a ton of domestic jobs as well, and if the government would step aside, more jobs would be available.the gov will not step aside maybe 1 day you will wake up to the fact that the gov and the rich look at us as expendable worker bees.

We also aren't exporting MOST of our jobs oversees. We export some, however, as I said before, their are many industries which continue to function within our borders.
well thats odd 90+% of anything i buy does'nt say made in america hummm.then the tiny bit that does all it says is assembled in america which means parts are imported in and put together here.so show me all of these huge industries that are here?

Citizens did allow it to happen, but that doesn't negate the fact the document is completely useless. If the document had any actual power the government would not have consolidated the level of power they have despite the willingness of the population to allow it.

It is in a governments nature to grow and a document will do nothing to prevent it as has been evidenced.

    This is fun...
Starting to sound like Felix and Oscar on the Odd Couple.
A hot topic, but hardly worth an anuerysm. And likely, it's not possible to flame aquiescence from another member in this forum.

If you are coming at this debate with the constitution and the law being your datum, then you'll have a different set of values than if social justice is your datum. Unfortunately they don't teach constitutional law any more, just case precedent law. (which consistently changes the law's datum to a more socially conscious point) So with social justice being the only datum most in our educational system are learning, it's no surprise that is what they will defend. Some day they (the untaught) might learn that there are two sides to what they've learned, but till then they will speak through ignorance.

If you are going to break the law and get caught, you should suffer the lawful consequences. Illegals should be no different in that regard, regardless of what "community organizers" and the American Civil Liberties Union want you to think...
