Arizona: Taking Immigration Into Their Own Hands

Just recently an old, long time rancher near the border was murdered by what was probably a drug mule. What makes it even worst, Mr Krentz could only walk with the use of a cane due to a recent hip replacement. He was a sweet and gentle man, who had helped illegals before, providing them with water and even food. His last radio communication to his son, was that he thought he saw someone in distress and was going to check them out and see if they needed any help. He was not a confrontational sort at all, and was more concerned with helping the unfortunate....legal or illegal.

This story was picked up by the NY Times on April 5th.

Knowing people in that area, and having visted there, you would not believe the amount of garbage that is left along the trails of what used to be a beautifull area. After that murder, and the amount of crime and crap the border communities have put up with, virtually every man, women and even children are packing guns! It is not right for them to have to live like that.

If the federal government won't protect the border the state should. That is far better then the people themselves taking the matter into thier own hands. :twocents:

Over the years, these have all been the top reasons I've seen why Americans got fired or just never came back after the first couple of days, some lasted a week or two but always, the type of people who wish to fill a job position that a illegal immigrant is able to fill with little or no understanding of the English language, all were guilty of one or more of the before mentioned problems.
so from the looks of it you are calling mexicans dumb asses?hummm:thumbsup:

i guess i'll have to spell it out since alot of people like to look at the small picture.

the reason the feds have never done anything to protect our boarders mainly mexico.is because that would cut off the real money making going on that the cia is balls deep into.being that the mexican boarder is the main entry point for drugs that are flown into mexico from around the world.can we say afganistan poppy fields? can we say reason why the us is in war and the reason they are over there now?

not everyone is cut out for the white collar life. not all of us blue collar slobs are drooling morons, condemned by our stupidity to a life of substandard wages. some of us choose the trades over an office cubicle because this is what we do best and enjoy most. i've watched as the construction industry has been taken over by predominantly hispanic crews that refuse to allow a white boy to even get a foot in the door. i've watched as entry level jobs became permanently occupied by folks who can't form a coherent sentence in the english language. i've watched as young men and women were refused employment because menial jobs in the service industries, where many of them used to be employed, were taken by a flood of illegal immigrants.

the simple fact is that this nation's first responsibility is to its citizens. their welfare and employment takes precedence over caring for our neighbors' poor, no matter what you may think of their choice of occupation.

I'm not saying any different. I've been doing Construction since age 16, I do mainly outdoor masonry, cement, retaining walls, pavers, etcetc. I'm just saying, over the past years I have seen plenty of white boys come in, and quickly go out because they were totally useless and all had one or more of the problems that I mentioned. Maybe if their forman wasn't such a dick and dealt better with idiots they would have lasted longer

I'm sure some other industries besides mine there is a problem where worthwhile citizens can't get work because of the problem with illegal immigrants. So again I am probably being unfair, it could possibly only be my profession that the Americans trying to get the jobs would still be unemployable if a virus swept the world and killed all Latinos

You seem to imply the influx of illegal immigrants is they only reason they are working jobs Americans want. Have you ever considered the minimum wage could be a major contributing factor in this as well? If we eliminated the minimum wage, American citizens who desperately need work would be able to compete with the mexicans who are willing to work for less than minimum wage. As it stands now, if you are a legal citizen, no matter how inefficient an employee you are, the company has to pay at least $7.25/hr.

All throughout American history, the newest immigrants have been despised. We hated the Italians, Jews, Asians, Blacks, etc at some point in our history because "they were destroying our nation."

Regardless, one solution is to eliminate minimum wage, this way legal citizens can compete for the jobs without infringing on another's liberties.

Here is a story from Arizona showing how HUNDREDS of Americans showed up and got off unemployment by getting jobs left vacant by illegals.

this isn't about immigrants, it is about illegal immigrants. there will always be a certain segment of society that harbors an irrational bias concerning newcomers, but the vast majority realize we are a nation of immigrants from all over the world. there is a series of hoops to jump through to gain the benefits of u.s. citizenship and those who feel entitled to by-pass them should be despised.
