How long will clean pee last in the fridge for an upcoming test?

Hello,

I have a test tomorrow in about 20hrs.

If I have a friend pee for me tonight, put it in the fridge overnight, and heat it up in the morning, will that be ok?

He can't get to me tomorrow morning and meeting him tonight to get the sample is my only possibility.

So basically, how long is the refridgerated shelf life for real human urine?

I know it's a little late for you, but for future reference, it only has shelf life of any value if it is frozen. I don't know if refrigeration makes a difference but after 8 hours, the urine begins to grow bacteria. Freezing and then thawing it for use later preserves it essentially for as long as one would need to do it, probably at least a year, but I'm not too sure. Hope this helps.
