i was adjusting one of the tie-downs on one of the plants and it snapped 3 nodes off. how do you think this will affect the plant with its training and its yield? the other pic is one of the plants being topped [attachment=o243829]

Advise is welcomed!Buckten Reviewed by Buckten on . Rubbermaid Bagseed Grow I am grow six plants from some pretty good bagseeds. i have a 40 gallon rubbermaid tub that i converted into a grow box. I cut 3 holes in the lid and they were just big enough to thread the Y-spitters through it. Then i took sockets and threaded them on to the splitters and this is so they stay snug. The white fan is just from a bathroom vent that i stripped down. I cut a hole for that as well and screwed it on with the blade poking through the box. I spliced the fan with the lights so that it Rating: 5

All the plants are taking the training wonderfully. I used half strength MG on day 18.there are some yellowing leaves on th bottom but i am not to worried about them to much though. i will start 12/12 in about a week and a half maybe a little longer. Tell m what u think. the first pic is the group. second is the one that i cut on accident and the third is the one i topped.

I think the yellowing leaves with brown spots was a nitrogen deficiency.

Man i like what you have done with that box. Bringing air in and out is great for growth. If all your stems are like thate second pic, you got some plants that could put out a good yield. But, dont flower them before the branch growth is symmetrical, which there not yet. Let them veg at least 30 days as they should be mature then, or close enough. Plus you should top at the 3rd node, or 3 sets of leaves. This will keep them shorter for you.

But you have done so much so early already and they still look great. Mine were like that too when they started as far as the nodes being tight like that and for my first indoor, turned out with what i believed a good yield. I dont have hight issues tho.
Its on you man, but i would not go 12/12 till all branch growth is symmetrical as this shows maturity. Your yield could be a oz or more difference and to me thats enough to wait. Guess on the oz, but id bet close. If you can get same size tub and stack bottom to bottom, it will give you twice the space.
Good luck man, il be watching this one:thumbsup:

yeah i got another tub ready to go on top. i installed another vent as well to suck more air out. you'll see when they are big enough to throw it on. Also all the stems on each of the plants look like the second pic. They are doing so good and taking the training really well. yeah i am going to start 12/12 as soon as they are ready. prolly another week or two. thanks for the input and ill keep you updated.

Tday 28
I might put them into flower in 2 or 3 days.
i threw the top on the grow box and raised the lights. so hopefully i can get them to strech a little bit. Also the leaves on the ground are pretty much dead but everything else is pretty healthy. Tell me what u think.
