Do they looked stunted???
Do they look stunted or do you think they are growing fine. This is their 25th veg day. I have them under a 400w HPS. I will add my other 400w HPS for flowering.

theres been some strech on them for sure. That fixture is not letting the light get to the outside plants. either rotate the plants or take the reflector off.

Those outer ones are screaming for light. Uhh huhh, see, I can hear them: "Light, light, I need light!" lol
Seriously, they do look a little stretched. You may want to go ahead and add in your other light so you can distribute the light over that further distance you need. You would have seen that stretching DRAMATICALLY if you have ever used flourescent lamps. I kept my lamp a little too far away, and my baby is over a foot tall at 4 weeks!
Attached is a picture of my 2 babies, started at the same exact time...The little one is a polyploid (mutated)...I think maybe it's because the seed was a little immature, iono....but see the difference in height? I learned my lesson about that weak ass flourescent bulb. (Also, the little one was stunted a little bit because I transplanted it from a cup to that pot.)

The bottom leaves are like that cause of all the growth towards the top. Look at how big the leaves are on top. Not all strains grow the same. How can you compare one strain to another on how it is growing? I just looked at my girls right now and the one your talking about has reacted to the additional light extremely well. On the pic your talking about, its Afghani. Look at the leaf formation. Some stems only have one leaf finger on it. Another reason for the leaves to be smaller on the bottom is that i did not top this girl, nor the rest of them. Not yet anyway. The concentration of growing for Afghani is on top. Reason for the leaves on the bottom to be smaller. I have not pruned them either. I am waiting a little bit more, then i will take clones (the bottom smaller growth). Hey i am still going to do what i have been doing. I will keep posting and you will just have to look out when i post on what my yield came out to be.............................
Oh yeah, one more thing. All the leaves should feel dry to the touch as i don't mist them and water or any moisture doesn't get to their leaves....
