Indoor/ Green house questions
Hey guys its been awhile but I am in need of the masters once again!
Okay so my set up, I have a green house its not a big fancy green house, I got it a fredmyers......BUT, it hold heat and is perfect for at least 8 full sized plants. The demensions are 74"(H)x49"(w)x74"(D). I have a hole in the top of the house with an intake fan and a fan blowing out so I think ventaliazation is okay.
I have one sasafras strain that I am going to be experimenting with.Right now it is in veg, still pertty small, I will have pics up soon. Its on an 18-6 light schedual with just some T-9 Florencance. Okay heres were the questions start coming.
I move my plant every day from inside my house out to the green house so it gets a good fulldays worth of sun. Once the shade starts to cover the green house I bring it back inside to the Florecent T-9's to finish out there light sched for the night. the light goes off at 1am and back on at 7am.
Is it okay to be changing the lite sorce like that every day? It sure dose like being in the green house more then inside, but Im not always going to be able to keep bringing it in side and out side especialy later on when the plant is much bigger. The other problem with that is I have neighbors on both sides so I cant be seen runing this plant in and out of my house every day. I just pinched out the top of the plant today and am going to prune for a bushier smaller plant.
So my plan for the green house is as follows..... I have tomatos in there right now and am going to have 4 tomato plants just as cover plant. If any one asks whats in there I say tomato and I have proof lol.
I plan to but my girl in the middle of the green house.
Now more questions Should I leave my plant in the green house. Or should I keep runing it in and out every day???? Its a hard desision. One becasue of light and time and Two.... well actually its just the light and time thing.
I live in oregon and right now were mabye getting 11 hours of sun lite,my green house only getting mabey 9 of thoughs hours, and I dont want it to flower yet I want to bush it out and keep it in veg for a while and then flower. I have heard of peole tarping plants, not sure what that intails?
I just need some advice on out door liteing scheduals and good times to flower outdoor and good times to veg outdoor in Oregon. Its not compleatly out door its still in a green house but like I said its not top of the line. Bugs can still get in but in a way thats not bad. Here in oregon there is alot of outside preditors that LOVE mites.
Any advice would be much appriciated. I love this web site! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!:thumbsup:Growgood2 Reviewed by Growgood2 on . I grow indoors 100% of the time, and have no experience with outdoor. Would be cheaper using the sun, but it better suits my needs and anxieties by growing indoors.

Indoor/ Green house questions
i am like Rusty and grow primarily indoors but I use LED lights that are designed for exaclty your application...to extend growing period in commercial greenhouses...i used to yard my plants in veg out during the day to the sunshine and back in at night to turn the lights back on....i was MH in veg so i was battling heat issues! 1 light will do your entire greenhouse!
Then you can leave your babies in 1 place and less stress moving them around increasing chances of being seen...herms...so many different issues can arise...plus less wear and tear on you physically and mentally! :hippy:

Indoor/ Green house questions
LEDs are an investment. But pound for pound they are cheaper than HIDs if you take the long view. Their are also reduced setup and running headaches and concerns - heat, voltage, a hot light that can burn you or your house, running costs, etc.
Do your homework if you want to go the LED route. There is a ton of crap on the market. Further, the technology and its application to MJ growing is changing fast. Much of the older technology is still kick around and will not get the job done. There are plenty of people here with far more expertise than I. I recommend starting by searching this forum - you will find plenty of background info to read up on. Many of the questions have been asked / debated already.
