best yield out of 2 x 600 HPS

Hello to all,

I have read so many nice threats and replies within this forum and i really hope there must be some replies to my question also ))),

I live in a country which weed is so much expensive almost over 50 euros per gram (((, plus if u get busted here the prison is long long time till u be out , minimun 5 years with 2gr ((,

So me and my friends we have been thinking for long time to grow our own staff so we could save some money since you can understand how much it cost if u buy 1gr for 50 euros, end of the day we work to buy weed (((

We have rented 3 flats on the same floor. Each one of us pay for 1 flat and we did rewired electricity from each flat to our growing room so there is no way we will get noticed by the police since we gona split the electricity bills into 3 different flats .

Now we are 3 of us and we really need a bit of big yield , arounnd 1 kilo and 200gr would be fantastic !! even more even the better ))

Our grow room is 1.50cmx 1.50cm and 2 meters tall, ( this is about 25 square foot area ), we have 2 600 watt HPS and all professional nessesary accessories for a perfect grow room ., eg ( fans, carbon, cool tube etc

Now my question is what is the best way we can achieve the best yield since we are 3 of us on this project. Should we use Soil or Hydro ? And how many plants would get us the best yield either way we grow them within the 2x 600 watt

Could you please let me know what pot size also are the best within this room in either way of grow ?

Is it any way if i make a bigger room with this 2 x 600 watt hps i may get bigger yield ?? we dont want to add more light in this grow room since we have another vegatate room with a 400 MH and the electricity is pretty safe to stay here .

2-3 pounds. better have good even canopy and lights up close with mylar co2 could help

If you are serious about growing you need to start doing your homework. Start reading the noob stickies in these forums. See my signature line for example. There are some great background reads. You will yield very little if you don't start learning. These boards are great for help and advice but you need to be educated to take advantage of them.

That is some significant need for 3 people. Sounds like this is more than a personal grow... You want to aim for a fast and continuous harvest. Hydro will give you the fastest results with superior yields. You can increase your production by doing smaller plants with shorter time to flower - you individual yields are smaller by you harvest more often so over all yield is greater. Also, consider using fluros for your veg cycle moving the other light to the flower room.

Finally, given such high penalties, is this really advisable? I guess in for a penny in for a pound (so to speak) but I would be very careful.

If max yield is your concern, just like bigsby said swap out the 400 for fluros and bring that bad boy into the flower room. Go with hydro but I would read into it good. Dwc may be the most cost effective and easist for starters atleast in my opinion. After seeing how dwc works and how fast it is its hard for me to go back to soil...

Yeah that's my impression too. But every time I see a DWC grow I'm put off by all of the chemicals. I know - I put them on my soil grow too but not in the same quantities. Something about getting my fingers into the soil makes me feel connected. Irrational to be sure. I'm doing the soil thing for the time being. Perhaps that will change with time.

a great beginner hydro type grow is coco coir. also, to maximize your yield, do some research into a scrog.

scrog? Oh yeah, I'm all over the scrog grow. With limited space / lights I can't see why more don't do it.

a scrog will yield you more, but it takes a bit longer. people don't like to wait!

I don't mind the extra two weeks. If you're going to do something... do it right. A little more work and time, better yield, more efficient grow. For those who are space-ally challenged a scrog is a no-brainer.

a ScROG is more advisable for people who can only have a limited number of plants. if going for maximum yield i wouldn't advise a ScROG. i would go with a sea of green, from clones. possibly a perpetual harvest. that would be your best bet.

a ScROG takes a little more than two weeks extra.
