    Any Old Pollen

Can generic "other" plants that produce a lot of pollen be placed into the flower room safely?

I don't know if pollen from say a Jalapeno plant can pollinate my MJ. Ignorant question I'm sure, but I'd rather shame myself and have an answer than be sorry for putting them in the same room. :-) Just don't know if pollen from a difference species can pollinate another.

You are fine with different species of plants. Then there is that .1%- like with fatsia japonica and ivy. Totally different plants from different parts of the world and they can cross pollinate to produce fatshedera! Pollen works like a key- you need the right key to fit the lock. Once in a LONG while pollen "key" "A" will fit flower "lock" "B"- it's just random chance.

But the most probable thing is that there would be no problem! The chances of peppers and cannabis having the same shape key, is VERY small. And I think our Mexican and Asian cannabis growers would have had it happen by now if it were possible!
