It's a waste of time. Yes, it will grow but since pot is gravitropic you're going to have a HARD time keeping it happy with the roots constantly above the leaves, it doesn't like that.

A guy on another site I frequent tried it - 6 months for one measly ounce.

i was thinking about trying this and i have the topsy turvy already.. anyone else with thoughts on this? i kinda figure the things would just grow towards the light rather than down.. tomatoes can hang with the weight but the leaves dont look as "directional" as pot leafs do so maybe it wont be good if the branches hang unless the leafs just curl towards the light.. hold on... ok googled for a pic of this

lol thats crazy but it might be good for lowriders but like khyberkitsune said you prob would not get a big yeild growing a bigger plant

I've broken them with my Mr. Stripey tomatoes once. Got so heavy it just ripped the thing apart once the wind blew.

my cousin and i where talking about this about a week ago and his theory is that the thc that gets waisted durring drainage would drain down toward the plant, in theory it would grow danker plants right? :stoned:
