Well here goes.
I'm planning on this to be my log for 2010. outdoor indoor whatever I got going on. So let's get a little basic info for everyone interested, I've been growing since beginning of 2009 so I'm not 'EXPERIENCED', but I don't think I'm doing bad. I've done plenty of reading, cannabible, pot smokers handbook, this site...etc. So I decided on the soilless style of growing. Most of my plants are in a 1/3 peatmoss 2/3 perlite mix, but the more recent ones are in 1/3 peatmoss 1/3 perlite and 1/3 vermiculite. And yes, I stole the Teir potting style, seems to work quite nicely. I've been using GH 3part since day1. I just recently got the Koolbloom liquid and powder nutes, and since using the Koolbloom liquid, I've noticed that the pistils are 2x longer than previous grow without it. I just fed the mutant with 1/4 tsp Koolbloom powder per gal yesterday, so obviously I can't vouch for the Koolbloom powder, yet.
without further ranting, on with the pics.

hm, woulda thought I'd get at least one reply.
Guess I'll post til something happens! so now I'm rooting clones in my rubbermaid grow tub thing, using jiffy peat pucks, pellets, plugs, whatever you wanna call em. I like them better than rockwool cause the rockwool will dry out really fast if you don't stay on top of it. whereas these you just let dry out a little bit and then water them when they get too dry.
Anyone think I should trim some fan leaves off this mammajamma? I think some are hindering light penetration to lower buds...

Yay roots! In the backround you can see the rubbermaid w/ 2 comp fans on top. only have 2 23w cfls in right now.

Tall and skinny needs to fatten up.

Only a little light burn but otherwise a pretty plant

Other flowering girl

Once rooted these things grow fast.. one of 3 in hempy, gonna go outdoor soil soon.

And my preferred method of medicating, Bongus Aurelius. (going to clean tomorrow)

Hey fellas,
Well time for an update. I went out and bought some more perlite and peat moss to make some more of my hempy medium, which I mix at 2:1, perlite : peat moss, seems to work quite well.
I have filled up the bubblercloner with fresh clippings from the girl 1week into flowering. The stems sit ~1" into the water. Using tap water, let it sit out for 24hrs. no nutes, nothing.

Veg
Temp: 78F
Rh: 50%
Mother is growing well, must have finally rooted into the new pot. Clones are doing well, just a waiting game.
Drinking out of a glass cause I feel like like a hobo when I drink out of a 40oz... budlight. Like that hook I made out of a soda tab? hah.

hempycups

enjoy, and any feedback would be much appreciated.

Flowering update
First off I must say I'm not pleased with the way two girls are doing right now, I'm gonna have to transplant them to a better container because they are wanting to fall over, I have a couple sticks to help keep them up for the time being, but I'm going to replant them into larger pots soon.
Second, why them buds so leafy mang? I'm hoping that it's just because it was this mutant plant, and it is one of the last remaining clones of the mutant purps, the other two I have are in the 4"rockwool, still vegging. All the rest of my plants are clones of the Motherplant, or the plants grown from seed currently in flower.
On with the pics

Next...

One of the fkers Im going to transplant

Other one....

Yes ladies and gentlemen, I finally have some plants in the great american outdoors. Although I do not have much hope of finishing any of these plants because of what I found when I came to plant them outdoors. So lemme give you a little background info...
A couple weeks ago I decided to go hunting for places to plant, found a couple nice spots, so I used what I had when I had it, dug two holes, filled em with some crappy scotts soil, and left them be. I came back today to see if I could find any tracks of people walking around, or animals, of which I found some deer tracks.
and what do I find when I get to the grow holes I made? right on top of the scotts crapsoil is a nice deercrap.
So that's where I'm at, I dug two more holes, this time I filled them with a supersoil mix ( soil/perlite/bonemeal/bloodmeal ) halfway, and then the rest of the way with regular good quality soil. My idea is that Im following HT's guide to supersoil, the plants won't like it until they're good and healthy, that's why I put it on the bottom, so the plant can grow into the food. These two holes have nothing in them as of yet, but will soon once a couple clones root a little better.
So I got a couple questions...
what's the best way to keep deer away from plants? I've seen a few sprays at the local Home Depot, but I think they want me to spray it ON the plants, and I don't wanna do that, something AROUND the plants would work for me. Orrr any suggestions would be nice.
deercrap on my hole. D:

The clones...

1.

2.

So today is Outdoor Day1 for these two in crappy soil.

:S2:... that deer was just trying to help by pre-fertilising your soil for you.
