Ok thanks, I will try to find some 3 gallon pots.. I ususally repot every 2 weeks.. least up to now, they have been in these pots for 2 weeks now (repotted the day I put them to flower)

This is what i did
Took the top layer (about an inch) of old soil out of the pot, I then got some distilled water and put a new layer of fresh dirt on top, the soil tester showed it at 6.5 ph.. I then put a layer on top then flushed the whole thing, the soil at the root ball is now @ about 6 ph so it did raise a little.. going to leave them be for now and hope!

With 1 plant it's not too difficult, I get my wife to help me. With more than 1 plant in a single screen, I'd say you need 1 person for each pot and an extra just to coordinate :jointsmile:

It is a little early to be positive on my part yet, but this is exactly my issue. The little brown dots moving up.

FIRST your plant will be okay and make good meds.

Second, I am beginning to come to the belief this is a "Cal/Mag" problem as that is what I am adding to my water and the leaves seem to be doing more of a general yellowing - as they should -as they reach maturity.

This has been a 3 week process. Now, along with that, my water PH is like 6, I use RO. Adding the CalMag really lowers the PH and I have to use PH up (sodium bicarbonate) to control that. With your pH, you probably will not need to buffer it. Currently I am adding 1 teaspoon of Cal/Mag (derived from molasses) in 5 gallons of water.

I do not get runoff either. I only transplant one time in the flower room and it has no effect or even worsens the problem (FFOF).

So slowly you might consider such a treatment. The response has been slow as I am hesitant to use many buffers (salts). Looking for the minimum to resolve the issue and so far - over time - it seems to be helping more than anything else I have tried.

Your Equipment:
.1) Type and wattage of lights. CFL 6 x 26w
.2) Distance from tops: 6 - 12 inch (depending on the plant)

Too little light, too far away. Sativa's can be a bitch if using CFL's since the plants tend to get so tall. CFL light only extends about 6-8 inches, so lower region of the plant will suffer greatly.

.8) Size of container. Veg 1 Gal Flower 2 Gal

Likely rootbound. Let the soil dry enough to carefully check the roots.

Your nutrients and water:
10) Source of water? (tap, bottled or filtered) What's it's ph before adjusting? Tap water ~ 7.6 ph
11) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...) Test Strips
16) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate? To My knowledge yes
17) What is your ingoing water's ph? ...your runoff ph? ~7.6 in upper ~upper 5's runnoff

You can not check runoff ph using test strips or drops that have a color-coded result. The tinting of the runoff skews the results. (same thing after adding nutrients to the ingoing water) Definatelly do not chase your ph around or make any changes based on your runoff numbers. They are wrong.

12) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...) Using Fox Farms fertilizer
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule. Fox Farms Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom feeding schedule
14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering? 1-2 pints when the soil is dry and light

Never use nutrients to balance your ph. You are overdosing them tremendously, and likely screwing-up the ph instead of fixing it. Fox Farms was kind enough to provide you a weekly feeding schedule that works very well. Follow it. (plain ph'd water inbetween feedings only if necessary)
Get some phDown by General Hydroponics, or a similar phDown product. White vinegar or lemon juice as a temporary ph adjuster, but only for short periods. But get the right tool for the job you've already started. :thumbsup:

15) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...) Super Thrive

Ditch the Superthrive. It isn't necessary, doesn't work well with other nutrient sources, and can do more harm than good. FF Grow Big and Tiger Bloom each have almost all the micronutes you'll need. In flower, the only additive I give is unsulfered molasses at 1 tsp per gallon of properly ph'd water, once a week. In my garden, molasses replaces all budswell products, carbo-load products and CalMag products, since that's what they are made from anyway.

I know it was cheap, but I got a soil PH probe from Lowes/ home depot and i figured even if it isnt accurate it should be actuate relative to a known PH right?

I think I need to UP the ph on my plans since they are all in t 4-5 range
I registered almost exactly 7.0 for distilled water..

I will read up on Molasses..
OH and I made a typo on how far my CFLs are away form my plans..
The plant that I have in flower are about an 1-2 inches (some even closer and got burnt) form the lights, and my veg plans are anywhere from 1-4 inches away.. dont know where I got the 6-12 :-P

I never really water then enough for run off, if there is some run off, its very minimal.

PH of Tap water is in the high 7s.. like 7.5 or so...

Watering plants properly involves watering the plant until the water begins to flow out of the bottom of the pot, aka runoff.

Also, regarding the pH levels of your water for irrigation, they should be within 6.0 - 6.3 organically. (Slightly acidic)

1. Your Container "might be" too small.
2. They appear underfed; lacking Nutrients!
3. What is Your Soil; "PH"?
4. What is Your "Lighting Source"? MH Bulb? What Wattage?
5. Rather than "water" when dry, consider "feeding" 2-3 X's daily, and we're not talking anywhere near a pint!
6. ANY "Source" of CO2?
