White Widow 36 days - When should I flower?

Hi... First time grower here. I posted another thread about my preflowering beastie.. but I wanted some old school pro's to have a look at my white widow girl and hopefully give me some advice.
She's 36 days old. Indoor in soil. 24/7 light with flourescents. Im planning to switch to a 1000 watt hps for flowering. But Im not sure when I should start flowering. She's right at 3 feet tall in her pot, about 2 feet 3 inches from the top of the pot to her tip.

When should I start flowering her in order to get the max yield / potency?

Also, Ive been using Fox Farms 'Grow Big' and 'Tiger Bloom' nutrients. 6ml of each per gallon of water. Is that about right for both veg and flower?

That's a lot of growing and stretching for 36 days?...anyways, you can start flowering ASAP with the 1000 HPS....next time, switch from fluroescents to HPS after the plants are about 10 inches tall....
Don't get the light too close at first...it's gonna be a big shock going from fluoros to HID lights.

I assume you have seen the sex pre-flowers? Those leaves look they have a LOT of Sativa strain in them. Usually White Widows are 60% Indica/40%Sativa.

Thank you so much for the advice. I need it! Im not sure about the ratio of sativa/indica...I dont even smoke because it makes me giggle too long lol. Im growing for my boyfriend and my mother. However... is having more sativa a bad thing?
Also, my beasties are pretty full bodied from top to bottom so do you have any guess as to the approximate yield on it? I know thats probably a stupid question that noone can answer but I just cant help myself lol. I wanna grow the HIGHEST yielding, dankest smelling, knock you on your ass hardest herb ..EVER. And I will someday.. just maybe not these first couple plants

A lot of growers love sativa strains. Only problem?...they like to stretch like crazy...which is a problem for most indoor growers. All things considered...sativa strains are probably best done outdoors....IMO.

Indoor growers usually prefer Indica strains or Indica Hybrids...(which white widows are) Indica's stay relatively short and fat compared to sativa.

Yield is impossible to estimate....I smoke to make me giggle a long time...:stoned:

Yep you are right.. I have alot to learn. And the first thing I want to learn is where can I find clones or seeds of Green Crack? I tried that last night and omg it was like freaking ART! I might have to take up smoking again if I can get my hands on some of that. Anyone know if Green Crack is sativa or indica?

I just harvested my first white widow plant and have two left in flower. I started flowering mine when they were about a foot tall. I grew mine with HID lights the whole time though so they probably just didn't stretch as much as yours. It took mine 2-3 weeks to get close to a foot tall. Anyway, they more than tripled in size during flowering. They are about 5 feet tall now.
I definitely would start flowering now. With a plant that big side lighting is a must if you want a better yeild. Once mine got tall I bought an extra HPS light to put on the side of the plants and it made a huge difference. Instead of just having quality buds up on the top foot or two of the plant, I got good buds all the way down. They were much smaller farther down, but I didn't add the side light until half way through flowering.
This is just my two cents, but I would harvest early. I had four plants and one got sick so I chopped it down 2-3 weeks before it would have been at its ripest and I like the high so much more than the high I get from my other plant I harvested that was in the traditional harvesting window. The younger plant gives a good active high that lets you keep your wits about you. The older plant sends you off into your own little world and makes you tired. It also basically forces me to stuff my face with food, which isn't a good thing if I want to get out and do something that day. I am definitely going to harvest younger plants in the future. The yield isn't as good, but the high is way better.
If you want I can post some pics of my harvest off one plant or pics of my plants that are still left. They are a thing of beauty lol.
