    Help with curling/yellowing leaves!

My plants were very healthy strong and stout, now 3 weeks into the budding stage I'm seeing curling leaf tips (claw like) and yellowing and drying around the edges. We're watering with tap water that sits 24hrs 1st at 7.5ph, run off ph is 6.0-6.5, P is p1-p2, K is k3. were in 18" pots, using miracal grow potting soil, watering every 4-5 days using approx. 1 1/2 gals. per pot. Were thinking we are not watering often enough but not sure. no signs of insects. Please give me some suggestions. We started with 18 hr. of light 600 watts,mh, now 12 hours of 600watt hps light.

Do you have pics? you can put them in your album if you don't have enough posts. Sounds like your plants are becoming nitrogen defiecent, which is normal in flowering, leave then on for a source of food until they fall off at the slitest tug. you can give a balanced 1/2 strength nutes, but they'll be fine as it's the natural process. next time keep N going 2-3 weeks into flower as they need it for the "stretch" period.

Thank you. I just did a soil check on the N and it came up between adiquate and deficient. Thank you again. I'm gonna try to post some pic's.

I was always under the impression you are supposed to back off on the N and raise Phos. during flowering.

To the thread author, your fan leaves will yellow and eventually fall off during later budding stages...you're almost there:thumbsup:
