I like chum Lee. The show is cool. I love going to antique stores too. You can find really cool guitars there and other crazy old stuff.

i watch it from time to time. they def. get some good stuff in. it really gives you a good idea as to how pawn shops lie and cheat! most folks go in there and get ripped off!

yea i watch it now i never knew about it until about 2 weeks ago. chum lee is a big tard.he's the type that needs to be on ssi/ssd and left at home. now as it does show how much money they rip it also shows how dumb customers are.for 1 they should research themselfs b4 going in.i mean it's really not that hard in this day and age.the other thing i find very funny is when he calls in an expert to price something,ok so how much is it worth well it's worth about 1000$ then he asks how much are you looking to get"when b4 they just wanted a few bucks"i want 1000$ they say lmao.first off it's the dumbest thing i have ever seen cause first off they are in a pawn shop lmao.if it's worth 1000$ and the pawn shop gives them a 1000$ how could the pawn shop stay open?

i saw 1 show where this item was worth 50k and then all the sudden the guy wanted 60k or some crazy # lmao funny people.

yup, people are their own worst enemies! all you have to do is go on-line and do a half-assed search to find out what something is worth. i can't help but wonder though, how much of the show is actually real! i mean, all of these "so called," reality shows are bunch of scripted b.s.!!! look at that repo show for instance. there you have a tribe of exotic idiots in make-up, repossessing vehicles from people who most likely, could never qualify for a vehicle loan in the first place...

Yup. I watched it opening night. My favorite is 'Old Man'. That (censored) cracks me up. The main guy (the bald one) annoys the (censored) out of me due to the stupid mother(censored) laugh. Sorry for all the 'censored' marks I just don't want any more of my posts deleted. :thumbsup: I do tend to cuss A LOT!

Haha yeah, some customers are pure dumb asses when it comes to pawning stuff. I can't believe some people bring in that rare of stuff and then go down to a couple thousand when they could go elsewhere and get triple that amount! Pawn shops ripping people off is their game. Even though sometimes people get rid of stuff that needs more money to fix and the pawn shop loses money, just the risk they gotta take i guess.

I LOVE this show, but I have to agree with TBAGU, Chumlee is a complete idiot... I can't stand him.

Remember the episode when he made wine by crushing the grapes with his bare feet? I had to smoke two bowls just to keep myself from throwing up. I wonder if they actually did drink his foot wine or if it was something else....

I love and hate the old man. Sometimes his cranky attitude is hilarious, but sometimes when he dishes out his insults he comes across as just a senile asshole. I also don't like how his offers will go down if the seller doesn't like his first offer. Cheap bastard. :icon506:

Rick's cool, I have no complaints about him.... his son on the other hand tries too hard to negotiate like his dad, but he's definitely got a long ways to go.
