When you're not used to it, a little anxiety can be normal. just get one thing to be focused on, like a movie or some music. plus, toke carefully. you may not feel anything your first time, or you may have way more than you can handle. just take a hit every 4 minutes or so.

i would say do NOT inhale deeply at 1st, especially if you're not a cig smoker. not much pisses off your buds more than coughing out the bowl contents from taking in too much...plus they'll be calling you "lightweight" or worse.

you may find nothing will happen. i found for the first two months of smoking on weekends that i didnt understand what the high was so therefore couldn't get it. then one night it all worked perfectly and once you know it you know it, this is just my opinion. Others may feel different! In time the loading of bowls and rackin up joints will all become a tradition and can sometimes give as much excitement as the high itself.

Hey, i have never toked up before, but my "initiation" day is soon approaching. Could anyone fill me in on the do's/don'ts of first times, and technique, etc.? It depends who i'm with, but it will either be nugs or blueberries, and i guess i'd be really lucky if it was blueberries cause i hear its a lot better. Anyhow, what do i need to know about smoking up, and what should i expect?

For the the first-time toker..their cannibinoid receptors,must be activated before they can git high. These are the same receptors in the brain,that accept cocaine..sometimes,it takes several times of toking,to git high or as high as you would be,if the cannibinoid receptors are not quite ready. For instance,my 25 year old daughter,wants to try weed,and she's toked it several times..but to little effect..because she's only toked a very small amount..it takes a certain saturation level,which is different for each person,before the cannibinoid receptors open up.

So be patient,learn to inhale properly,learn your limits,so you won't make a fool of yourself and git busted..use common sense and never toke at home,if there's the slightest chance that you will git caught. I hope that you don't allow weed to make your grades suffer..the wise stoner..takes care of all responsibilities and chores,first. I hope that you stay away from all hard drugs,including pharmaceuticals,at least while you're still trying to git an education..if,as an adult,you choose to git addicted to hard drugs..that will be upon your head..but while you're living at home..please don't bring the cops down on your parent's head.
