Yeah, no doubt it's amazing herb!!

I just ground up my last bit of it and it burned PERFECTLY!! I'm pretty much a dumbass for not realizing this earlier. This is perfectly cured for the "grinders" out there!! Also, I find it not to bother me as much if I'm using a hemp wick... that way I know I'm not sucking butane down while trying to light my herb.

Hey Kingminus, do you know what I'm saying about grinding though? I'm just wondering if I'm crazy...:stoned::stoned::stoned:

Well NS, with all due respect, you seem to have landed an AMAZING caregiver. As you well know, most of us have to settle for having limited access to gear that ranges anywhere from Ok to Awful.

I for one, whose life is greatly enhanced by MJ, will keep waving the pom-poms for those who get it done the way it was intended to be done.

    peace.

I'm thinking you're on to something lamp. Dude, this Green Crack is nice

Everything I got from there (see strains above) was beautiful fire. Period. I LOVE the building, Jerry & Shawna (God I hope I got that right) seem SO legit, and the drive is great for me.

I did my best not to let Bryan leaving get me down. I did my best to accept it and believe that there would come another place. I just didn't realize it would be like a week later

Yeah, I don't like to grind most of the fire I get cuz I want all the trichs and flavor in the blast (unless I'm on a vaporizer). If I want keif I'll just go pick some up at a disp.. I think the only reason to grind is to collect keif. I'm old and we never used to grind herb back in the day (we used to run mersh thru a sifter tho). I don't think I even saw a "grinder" before 1997. Now-a-days these whippersnappers grind up everything. Could be a generational thingy. To each his own but for me it's scissors or good old fashion thumb and index. Word!

it's all preference brotha, not generational- Grinders are awesome if you're about to roll some dutch's or j's and don't feel like sitting down for 15-30 mins scissoring up some herb. Grinders also are great when I'm in a hurry or alternatively too intoxicated to operate scissors . Also, on the contrary, I think good smelling/tasting herb, when ground, still tastes/smells great, I've NEVER notice any taste difference and actually I think it tastes BETTER in some instances when I've ground the herb- it really rips up the green and gets them nice and smelly

Personally, I used to grind for keif once and awhile, but now I only grind if a)i'm in a hurry or b) I don't feel like chopping up a 1/8 for some j's. I have a Wikka box I set my herb in/cut my herb over and it has collected so much keif, I don't know what to do with it. Keif is such a rip off at stores in my opinion because you don't know the quality, and you can collect keif easily w/o grinding. I've seen some very green keif sold at dispensaries which makes me think there's a lot of plant matter in it- For example I have a 120 screen, keif looks like *SLIGHTLY* tinted green sugar. I think everyone would be surprised just from cutting your herb up over a screen how much kief you can collect. I had an 1/8 of Sour Chunk from Cam, got over .5g worth f keif, no grinding, no shaking, just cutting herb to roast.

NS, that would be AMAZING. I don't like paying the prices, but as I waxed on about before, I really cherish and enjoy true craftsmanship of ALL kinds. It just so happens that A. MJ really makes a difference for me and the lives of my 4 children and wife, and so I really can't imagine going without it, and B.
Since I cannot grow, I don't feel paying a premium for true fire is that much of a burden.

I know from your vantage point, one I hope to have someday, what it must look like, but my options are limited at this point.

Thanks for keeping me in mind. I may bring it up to you a few times between now and then. I LOVE the caregiver/patient model, and that's where I'd like to be.

    peace.

I prefer to use scissors to lightly chop my herb before smoking. I find a grinder does too much damage to the trichomes and takes away from the flavor

but for best flavor, I use some glass rods that I heat with a torch, and I light my bong with those:thumbsup:

If you actually sit down and smoke one bowl that was ground up, and then load a second where the herb was carefully chopped, you'll see the difference!! Its a simple fact that you're bursting and losing trichs, but also losing a bit of the terpenes and oils as the plant is chopped and smeared along the inside of the grinder. Granted, its a very small amount of loss, but it can sometimes make a big difference.

The only time I ever grind is for vapor hits. And maybe stuff that isn't quite dry enough to smoke well.

Wow... I love the sfv og kush from this shop!! A lot of candy on the flavor and real bellringer! Definitely the best grown sample of sfv I've personally tried. Can't wait til they get it back in stock.

Also anyone lookin for a real pure landrace indica should try afkansastan, such a pure indica slow down the mind and relax you effect, I hope to try a clone of it soon, I'm tired of strains that give me insomnia. This is just the perfect insomnia cure.
