When I spoke with the owner, he was working on lowering his prices below the 55 per 1/8, and will not be raising prices. Price point is a big concern, at the same time keeping some of the best meds in town.

SSH #2

Afghooey
AK47 (on special)
Diesel Haze
Purple Urkel
Sour Diesel
...and there's probably 5-10 more I can't recall. This stuff all looked well done for sure! If I'm gonna get picky (and I always do) one of the strains I got seemed like it wasn't cured long enough for my liking... only after 2-3 hits in my bowl was I even able to get a small barely lit cherry. But I'll definitely be back man. The other strain was perfect and very tasty...Brown-eyed women and red grenadine...

Checked it out today. Picked up some Killer Queen & Purple Urkle. Talked to the guy for a bit. It annoys me that they have nice bud but then they give it to you in a ziplock. Besides that I'm going to be dropping in every once in a while. Prices are ok. And at least the guy knows his stuff.

I remarked about that too (the ziplocks) and Jerry said that it's mainly due to the fact that everyone ends up having umpteen hundred jars, and that just doesn't feel right to them. They were kind enough to let me in, even though I got there about 10 minutes after close, so I wasn't going to say anything, besides, I have glass jars here at home, and they encourage you to bring in your own jars, which I will.
That said, I picked up four testers, Sweet Skunk, Chem Dawg, Green Crack, & Afgooey. I've never had any of these strains before with the exception of Bryan's amazing Chem, so it should be interesting.
Again, it was after closing time, so I didn't want to keep the man, but everything looks and smells REAL nice. I had one hit of the sweet skunk earlier, and it was nice, very nice. I'm about to go hit this Chem and Afgooey, so I'll throw down the report tomorrow.
I'm feeling good about things though. Great building, people, and vibe, so that's a good start. And it's a MUCH easier and scenic drive than it was to CCF, so all things considered, it makes the "loss of Bryan" a little wasier to stomach.
peace.

I said "waiser"
Anyway, yeah, this is good stuff. I think I like this Chem Dawg even more than Bryan's, or at least the same. B's seemedto have more of a menthol/chocolate type thing going on whereas this one seems a tad sweeter. Who knows though, maybe it can vary this much from batch to batch, I wouldn't be sure.
The Sweet Skunk is nice. Reminds me of when my mom would get hooked up with "Ses" back in the day, (late 70's or so) I clearly remember that pungently sweet aroma. Normally I didn't like MJ smoke at all, but when they had that stuff, I was a bloodhound on that smoke. Nice work.
THe Afgooey has a leathery/grape flavor, or so it seems, I am :stoned: to the bone at this point off a small bowl of Chem and and smaller bowl of this here gooey
Bottom line, place is dope. And even if B was still at CCF, because of the variety of different strains and the shorter trek (into a far cooler neighborhood) I would have probably split time between the two places.
I have a new bandwagon to ride.
BTW, I just LOVE this Ubaldo Jimenez kid. I LOVE this whole Rockies team.
peace.
