they told me they dont have that licence and that i need a doctor with a special licence to get medical marijuana perscribed to me
I'm sad to hear this lie over and over again from close minded doctors in Canada. Closer to the truth would either be that they simply don't believe in the research that has been done to prove medical marijuana's benefits ... or ... their insurance company won't insure them if they prescribe a drug that isn't on the list of approved drugs.
then they were trying to push me to go to a pain clinic to try a bunch of drugs for the pain i dont need to do those's drugs because marijuana works really well
You should let them refer you to the pain clinic. In most cases the pain clinic doctors will be more apt to signing your medical marijuana prescription. If they insist on putting you on pharmaceuticals, let them know the negative effects they have on you and explain the positive benefits the medical marijuana has provided for your medical condition.
Best of Luck
