MH to HPS and back to MH

Was wondering if it would cause stress to my plants if i was to switch back to my MH bulb. Seedlings grew under floros then went to mh for veg. started flowering under mh for 2 weeks on the 12/12 then switched to a HPS bulb. The hps bulb is just way to hot for my tent. Any advise is much appreciated. Thank you

I do the same thing. I use a blue light for transition and then back to my hps after first two weeks. You do have to figure out a way to control the heat problem. How hot does it get?

highs are 86... lows are 71. the hps seems alot hotter than the mh bulb. temps with my mh bulb were perfectly at 78. i have used the HPS bulb for about a month now.

do you think it would be ok to switch back to the MH bulb to finish flowering?

That would be fine. I have heard of growers doing that on purpose because they believe the blue light creates more crystals at the end of flowering. Do not quote me on this, for I have no experience with this. You can do a search and try to find more info on this. If you find anything interesting let me know.

You can most def switch lights. Your temps are not bad, in fact 85 F with co2 is really good.
