Light question
Hi all,
Question about lighting:
Are more lumens better than light temperature (Kelvin)?
I have 2 CFL's and one has a lumen output of 2700, but I don't know what the temperature of the light is.
The other CFL is a "daylight" bulb at 6500K, but puts out only 1600 lumens.
I'm not sure which is better.
I have one, tiny, baby plant and the cotyldons yellowed and fell off, but the two first 'real' leaves are growing, small, but growing. I noticed the tips of the quarter inch long leaves are slightly yellowing and while I'm trying to figure out which of the possible problems, might be the cause, I got to wondering about the light situation.
I have a 150W HSP, but I'm not sure if it's time to use that or not.
First-timer and struggling.
Thanks in advance!
