A couple of days...

Hello everyone. The title of this thread indicates two separate topics.. One of which is short and simple. It has been a couple of days since I've been on here, and might I say that I've missed everyone. Last week alone I worked a total of 60+ hours.. So lately I've been resting a lot. Real quick I will mention 2 things amusing that happened at work.. (Cause I love telling everyone the insanity I go through on 3rd shift)

(a) The cop that pulled his gun on me tried to come into my store. I quickly locked the door before he could come in. When he came over to the window and asked to use the restroom I lied like a dog, and said my manager told me I couldn't let anyone in my store after I locked up (especially people who pull 9mm weapons on an employee.) He bitched and moaned for a second before the moron finally left. I hope the bastard pissed himself. That would've been great.

(b) This happened last night. I was taking care of a customers through the window (like a typically due for safety.) and I had a woman and a guy come up. They were in a pretty heated argument. My curiosity got the best of me so I turned on the outside speaker and started listening. The woman said (and I quote) 'I told you I would suck you (CENSORED) for $50; now where's my money!?' Then the guy said (and I quote him) 'Girl, that wasn't worth $50. Here. (extends money) I'll give you $20.' (unquote) so they just kept bickering. Didn't buy anything just got out of the car to argue I guess.:wtf:

Anyways that ends subject 1 of this thread. Subject 2 is of more concern to me. If you read my threads than you know I got hurt at work about a month ago. Well, I went to the doc and they drug-tested me. I passed (enough said). Now I have this "Safety Meeting" to go to later in the week. I may not be so fortunate to pass again, so my question to you forum is: do you think they will drug test me again. It is a meeting for everyone that got hurt in the company last month. Not really sure they can test you again without reason. safety meetings are usually just a meeting where a couple coem talk your ear off about common sense shit.I wouldnt worry about it.:jointsmile: what has this world come to where you cant be a pothead at a friggin gas station.

Right! This company I work for is REALLY REALLY head strong. Our prices are always WAY higher than our competitors. I just got off work and now my feet are aching like i just ran a marathon. If a customer complains on you the company doesn't ask your side of the story. Oh, hell no. You get wrote up on the spot. 3 of them and your gone. Makes me wonder how the hell i've been able to last as long as I have. Today is the big day of the Safety Meeting. Wish me luck :thumbsup:

Anyways I will update the forum of the result once I get there and get it over with. My God I am soooo bloody tired. I just worked an 8 hr shift now I get to go listen to an overpaid bigget talk about how we costed the company "x" amount of dollars. YAY!

Okay so I just got back from the safety meeting and might i say it was scary as hell considering the CEO of the company was there (someone I've never met before.) and basically all it was was maybe a 5 min meeting of him asking me what had happened. so, no additional drug test and basically just the CEO asking me a bunch of questions. All came out alright. :thumbsup:

>.< I am so sick of going to work everyday. Yes, I know that I should be thankful that I have a job, but the people I deal with are (in lack of other words) morons. These people lack any true common sense. Every once in a while I have a person that comes in and they are 'nice' and respectful, but as soon as I enjoy the fact that they are so pleasant they are gone. It's almost time for me to go back to work and I hate it sooo bad. Plus my panic disorder really doesn't help situations. Maybe I should apply for SSI or disability. I hate to sound like a freeloader, but I've been working this job over 6 yrs (which may not seem like a long time) but for every one day it feels like a week. So,.... Yeah.... Do the math :wtf: I guess what I am trying to say is I hate the people I deal with at work. I just had to get this off my chest!
