Dank dank - 3.5 grams
Reagent Grade Acetone (ordered online) - 3 fl oz
Water
A medium pot
Instant read candy thermometer
Your Mama's glass pyrex measuring cup
Garlic press
Fine mesh filter strainer

Get your Dank

Gind up all your dank dank as finely as possable. Remove all stems. They will only soak up your final product. The stem is a foe of the Dragon.
If you see a seed, throw out the eighth and get more; you got the wrong stuff. It is the sacrafice of virgins, beautiful and hairy. The Dragon will blow the way of those who do not suffer his quality.

Boil the dank in a pot of water for three hours, this will remove all the waxy stuff that will otherwise end up in the Acetone and make the GD have a black residue after every time it leaves a container or in the bottom of every cup.

On a higher lever, it will also decarbox the THCA, so there is no need to fuck up with ovens, food dehydrators, microwaves, or anything.

Now strain the weed through the mesh strainer.

Mash it with a spoon to get a good bit of water out.

Fill the pot up with water, and bring it to boil.

Put the dank in the pyrex measuring cup, and pour in 3 fl oz of Actone.

Put the measuring cup into the pot as it is boiling.

Watch the Acetone, keeping it no higher than a bare boil.

Stand there with the candy thermometer until it reaches 1 fl oz.

Put the measuring cup in the freezer until it is really cold. Otherwise all the acetone will evaporate off the plant matter once you strain it into your storing jar, and you won't be able to increase your yeild with a garlic press.

Strain the measuring cup's contents through the mesh strainer into the air-tight glass container you will be harvesting the power of the Dragon.
Squeeze every bit of plant material dry with the garlic press into the final jar, over a clean mesh filter.

Self titerate

Store wrapped in a bandana to avoid light. Keep out of heat. Never leave open when not in use, it will slowly evaporate away.

I read once that the liver metabolizes Delta-11-THC, as opposed to Delta-9-THC from the lungs. Anyone have any more information on this?

I was washing my hands and thinknig about cleaning walls and realized that the more pressure you put on something you're are trying to get off the more it comes off. What do you guys think about putting pressure above the measuring cup somehow. Like, an upside down ceiling fan lightbulb glass cover piece. Put ice in it, and all the acetone that evaporates up will condensate back into liquid and drip down in a stream from the tip on the glass bottom. It seems like this would build pressure, like elbow grease, and also save a lot of money on acetone.

so what are you supposed to do with it after that? acetone cannot be smoked, you should not eat it. it makes sense to just evaporate all the acetone off. any effect that you would get from this method would probably be poisoning. though you would extract the thc, you will also extract your brain.

acetone is great for cleaning glass pieces, it is after all used to clean glass instruments. and in most walmarts you can get 99% acetone for about 2bucks, no shipping.

If you seek to extract the good stuff from the inactive parts of your brain, simply imbibe 1ml, or so -depending on the batch and what you feel like I guess- in a beverage of your choice. Alcoholic for best results.


True you can get cheap impure gross acetone, like unleaded gas. You should only use premium grade when you want the best results. So I use reagent grade. Yes, it's fingernail folish remover. It removes the THC from Cannabis the same way it does paint on nails. I chose Acetone for this extraction so I could make that comparison.

3 hours is way to long. I think to decarbox correctly is should only be in there for like 5-20 min.
We will see.
Another attempt soon.
I feel like a fool for thinking you couldn't fuck it up like an oven. The cannabis was at around 200-220 for like around 2 hours.
