    MMJ Patients first grow....

You can get little jobs like this guy for dirt cheap at (probably ) any hardware store.

firstfist Reviewed by firstfist on . MMJ Patients first grow.... Good evening everyone. Im a MMJ patient that suffers from severe migraines and nerve damage in my head:(. Im trying to find some straines that will suite me and my needs. Im not working now and I definately dont have the cash to run to the local dispensary. I started off by getting a mother that was a clone from another patient I knew. I just dont know the strain. I bought a OG KUSH clone from the dispensery. I have a bag of seeds so I germinated those. I have a CHOCOLOPE & BUBBA KUSH seed Rating: 5

Today I put the BLUE CHEESE BUBBA KUSH and CHOCOLOPE seedlings in cups today because the pots were to little that they were in. Had to get rid of some of my bag-o-seeds plants that were 2 weeks old to make way for these... with the extra cfl's its bomming brite now. The leaves are standing straight up and the plants are smiling:thumbsup:

The humidity is cool but its like 80degreese had to turn the fan up. Well hopefully these seedlings will some ladies....I will be going to 12/12 once they get 25 days old...

Tomorrow I hope to take a trip to the hydroponics store to get some nutes.

Looks like your gaining on on the set-up. If you can get 2 more splitters, you can take out both cfl's and put a splitter in both of the sockets. This makes it possible to have four cfl's on one light.

If you can i might try to make a reflective hood for the top of your lights, so you can take advantage of as much light as your putting out. If you can direct the light back to your grow area, its like adding more. I see that everything is white in there, but ya might try something around the sides. You could use anything white to sit on the sides of your tub to reflect your light back to your plants, rather then let it escape out into the room. The hook lights i use reflect a lot of light for me and im sure it would help you. You might find something around your house, like card board covered in crinkled tin foil, held on with duct tape or something. Anything at this point, till you can get a hook light. They are around 7.99.

    Keep er green man:rasta:

Ok since I added the extra lights I keep checking the thermometer its staying at 89 degrees, humidity is between 40 and 50 and with the lights & fans on 24/7 im a little concern. As I want to add more cfls...

What can I get or do to make the temp stay between 70 and 80 degreese??

    Thanks:hippy:

Well i might get another fan blowing air around. Yeah 89 is a bit high, if ya can get it down a bit with a fan blowing right at the lights, i think will bring it down a bit. I have one in a box with a fan half in and half out and i suck air out, but my temps are at 80 which is fine, as the plant is telling me that. An osculating fan might work the best:hippy:

If ya got a fan in the ceiling, id keep it on, it may help some:rasta:

I defianantly agree with an added fan, a 12" oscillating fan would work great. When i ran into heat problems I would open a north facing window to basically cool the fresh air going into the room. Do you keep your door closed? open it and stick the fan in the doorway. You can veg them at a higher temp as long as they have enough water and fresh air. You can keep the plants cooler by watering with colder water. not to cold as you'll shock your plants. i run my veg at 85 by choice. i had it at low 70's with 3000w, but now that it's warmer they use thier water faster and have had a growth spurt. more airflow will also build you thicker stems= thicker buds and help coltrol pests. spider mites can't function properly with a lot of airflow. i keep my mites in check by using 2 16" and one 12" oscillating fans for an 8x10 area and they blow directly on the plants, above and below.
