So I have grown in dirt for 10 years and I've always done the same style in dirt and have decided to try ebb&flow and dwc for the first time. I have been blessed with a great place, and have 10 years dirt experience, and past other houses. So I was trying to always grow organic but have humbled down to learning how to use hydro. so here is my set-up-
which is slowly getting adjusted with time. does time exist?

*400 watt mh-& fluro tubes
*2- 750 watt hps-lumatek ballasts
*3by6 ebb a flow table with 40 gallon rez.
*a nice dayton intake that blows enough air for both rooms-no a/c needed
*strain--og # 18 reserve privada
So to switch I cut all my clones in dirt so I could have enough cuttings to play with in hydro. I'm going to stick with just 1 strain till I can fine tune everything. Here are pics so far, I appreciate all advice. thanks :rastasmoke:
[quote=waawaa]So i cut all the clones off my dirt mother and got 48 nice cuts. I used dip&grow and plugged them into rapid rooters in a humidity dome. I use a t-5 and put it very close to domes and mist 2-3 times a day with seaweed. So I got roots in 5-7 days and plugged 30 into rockwool 3by3 blocks and 18 into 2 inch cups with pro-mix-bx. I have now decided i should root them in the 2 inch and plug into rockwool that works great cause they establish a root system quick in 2 inch cups, a few days. So now my system is all about establishing plants for the 5 gallon buckets.
So I really liked the ease and ability of the bucket system, but I decided to do it manually by changing each bucket individually instead of a flowing system, I figure if 1 gets damaged it would be better than all of them. I'am using rainwater from a catchment that catches rain water. It is as pure as it gets it only has 18 or less ppm on the meter. I have decided to use the gh line of fertilizer and go with latewoods advice and numbers. so the bucket really holds about 3-4 gallons so I'm doing the 1-1-1 for veg and .25-1-2 for flower. I'll write more in while....
