My doctor wrote me up with TMJ..

i slammed my jaw in the ground a few years and popped out of place and have had jaw lockups and pain since. just saw a docotor today and in the right up he wrote down i have tmj. will the mmj docs here in nor cal reconize the tmj as one of few other reasons why i should turn to mmj instead of painkillers and what not?

Well you might suggest pain killers are known to cause bruxism (tooth grinding) which is very bad for TMJ.

thanks for the input! it also leads me to lack of motivation to eat since it locksup and aches during a meal.
