    leaves ramhorning

Seedlings have been in the ground for 3 weeks. I use promix/ worm castings. filtered tapwater set to 7ph. I have been using seabird guano at 10-10-2 mixed at 1/3 what the directions say. indoor temp sits at 73-78 degrees with 60percent humidity. using fluorescents about 2 inches from the canopy and on all sides. I think i have used to much nitrate. i flushed the soil but maybe not enough. the leaves are curling down on one plant and on another seems to be really stunted and right at the tips of the new growth there is a slight yellowing. please help! thank you in advance.

My best guess from the info you've given is that you are over-feeding a tad. Plants need very little to no nutrients in the first 3 weeks. The excess nitrogen could very well play a factor in the curled leaves.

You may want to look into some CalMag+ as well. filtering your water removes bad stuff but takes some of the micronutrients along with it. CalMag+ should replace those missing micronutes and return some color to the tips of your leaves.

Keep in mind this is based off relatively little information. I also may be jumping to conclusions by recommending CalMag+; it seems a lot of people (including myself) tend to do so.

    Good luck.
