Welcome to the market and the laws of "Supply and Demand"
All the "johnny come lately" growers have flooded the market and the folks that have been doing it for years have upped their game and become more productive. So the prices have dropped and it will get worse before it gets better. As the big warehouse grows start coming down more and more you will see the price per pound drop. But I believe this will correct itself within a year or so. Many many people have gotten into growing or started dispensaries with expectations of huge profit margins. Once they figure out their overhead and find they can only get half of what they thought per pound (and that's if they are able to harvest a quality product). But those of us that have been doing this awhile know there will be some slim times coming up but we will weather it because this is what we do, what we have always done. But for those that got into it to get rich quick I think many will fall by the wayside and run for the next "get rich" scheme, once they find the margins are not that big.
