Its not a good idea to fim or top till 3-4 node and i would recommend that you do it at 4th node IMO:hippy:. I like the fim myself, as the tops could vary to 4-8 tops or more.

i will take pics for u babe so u can learn hopes me get it right i did it on my mates plants last year we trimmed roughly 3/4 of the new growth off and he got 6 tops on that one ill be hap-E with that:stoned::jointsmile::jointsmile:

the 1st pic is the entire family who have made it threw thick and thin together, and im happy to say we havent lost ne member of the family yet (touch wood) even through the frost, and the slugs have just started bastards killed 4 today gunna get sum repellent!!

the 2nd pic doesnt show the lowest node so there is one more below the bottom of the pic! u rekun thats ready to fim letsseeya?

You alright jungle. Havent checked in on your thread for a while but got to say your plants look real nice and healthy. Only thing i can say was when i fimmed i cut just where was reccomemded but i only have 2 tops. So i topped it but i didnt cut enough for a top but it turned out a top ! Could have been that i flowered soon after so it didnt have time to develop but that wouldnt happen in your case cos you gotta a while till flower i think :S

Anyway keep up the good work, will try chek in a bit more regularly in the future !

okay so i fimmed 7 of 9 of my plants and left the other 17 to do there thing (which at the moment are suffering frm the attack of the slugs so i NEED to get sum repellant!!) i duno if i dun it right but at the end of the day if i havent ill still end up with 2 tops, which i can then fim agen???(can i??):jointsmile:

i got a quick question i didnt feed them there nutes yesterday as it rained friday night and all day saturday and they looked pretty drooped from the watering, so i didnt wanna add more fluid to the soil, shall i...

a) wait til the soil drys out (probably tmo (tuesday)) and then feed them there nutes that were due on sunday, and from then on feed on tuesdays?

or

b) just water them through til next sunday and then feed them nutes on sunday, as not to break the weekly cycle?

I don't think adding nutes 2 days late would hurt, nor would leaving it till sunday. I would as a little less nutes on the tuesday as she misses two days or getting it, so little less than usual so she uses it up ready for sunday
