best way to do it mate, look it like this if u get 10 males n 10 fems then your laughin, outside grows ur looking at 8-10 oz each plant. last year i got 8oz from the big one and 4.3oz off the smaller one. (i stressed out the smaller one, and it snaped in half whn it was young) soo it was good allround.
goood luck!

ye man they be fine mine are showing small signs of being cold like purple stalks, but i dont care they look healthy they are growing a gd amount each day so im not bothered, i cant be too protective, if they learn to fight fo themselves when there younger they will always be stronger plants and be able to deal with bigger problems later on... thats what i beleive anyway, and it seems evident with other plants ive grown (i.e. nt cannabis lol):jointsmile:

init man there not hard to grow my first grow a couple of years back, was just one plant, no special soil, no nutes, watered once a week in a 3gal pot, and it grew to about 4-5ft tall and was bushy like i couldnt get my arms around it, but it turned out male unfortunately but that just shows it will grow without all this special shit, it just helps it i guess, the happier the plant the happier the yield and product i suppose but they will grow without super nutes and super soil :jointsmile:

''cool shall i lst it then and then fim each top that comes up? surely that would be sum seriuos yield?''
No you want to fim at about 3rd or 4th node, then let it grow. After it heals up, it will grow a number of tops, i got 7 on my one and only fim:thumbsup:. I just then grew it out, harvesting lots of tops. My '09 grow in log.
You want to tie the main stem around your pot. It will be the side branches off the main stem that will start to grow to the light. And there will be alot of them. Im not sure if iv ever seen a fimmed plant lst'ed before though. It might be tough because of all the branches that would need tied down, but with some work i dont think it couldnt be done. You might want to read Finn's scrog grow, because he use's it and looks to me to be the best example for you to follow. I have only used the fim to get more tops.
Here is what it could look like, but you could even get more then this too:thumbsup:this was mine fimmed last year at the third node, took about a week an a half for the tops to start growing, but when they start they go baby:hippy:

If you grow indoors and plan to flower there, id lst, but if your growing outside and planting in the ground, id fem at 3rd or 4th set of leaves. Not ''top'', but fim. Cut only the very new growth deep into the tips of the top. Cut 2 or 4 tips ya get 4 or more top like colas. Worked for me so i guess i pitch it to people, as my yield was big in that tray i used. Im going to repeat it this year and plant a different strain in it. Came from Holland and has low ryder2 in it for short growing period. It was crossed to grow fast outside anyway iv been told.
