Sacramento CountyI see alot of dispensaries opening in Sac. County. Just curious how they are getting business license when a friend of mine applied and was turned down. Sacramento CountyWell as we've noticed they want to cut down on the numbers of dispensaries here in Sac, so I'm guessing they've capped it off.

Sacramento CountyI live downtown and we are flooded with dispensaries....not that I'm complaining! But yeah, they are trying to limit the numbers in efforts to have a better handle on regulation and control. I'm expecting things to get a little crazy over the next year as far as ganja goes....but it's nice to see the fight finally getting some ground!

Sacramento CountyOn March 26th Sacramento County sent out about 15 letters to the landlords of buildings where there were dispensaries, telling them that they had 2 weeks to close or face fines. I believe that the most of those have closed, but I am not sure. The City of Sacramento is working on a zoning ordinance to limit the number of dispensaries in the city of Sacramento. If they do limit the number to 12 in the city, that will mean that over 30 dispensaries will have been forced to close by the county and the city of Sacramento. The remaing dispensaries are going to be overloaded with patients. I can forsee long lines and wait times for patients trying to get their medicine. There are going to be lines outside of the dispensaries if almost 75 percent of the dispensaries are eliminated. This is going to cause problems w/ neighbors and draw attention to the dispensaries which is the exact oposite of what we want. The Sacramento City Council needs to let the dispensaries that were legally open before the moritorium to remain open and service the patients of the greater Sacramento area!!!

Sacramento CountyThis makes no sense at all.

Why is the city and county shutting down TAX paying businesses when they can't even afford their bills! They are Bankrupt!

I don't see them shutting down any dry cleaner businesses...even though there is one on every street. What a joke!

 Fuck California.
