Issuing a Formal Complaint?
What do you all think about issuing a formal complaint from the Medical Cannabis card holders in New Mexico? Like a petition. This situation is intolerable. Waiting months to get medication? And even then, no guarantee that there will be enough to go around. Is this Afghanistan? I would understand it if this program just got off the ground last year but this progam has been in place for three years.
I sent another email to Governor Richardson and I'm expecting the same response as the last one:

What do you all think or is this just another stupid idea? Anyone have a better idea? Bueller?Totah Sam Reviewed by Totah Sam on . Issuing a Formal Complaint? Issuing a Formal Complaint?
I think it is a good idea Sam. The way things are now, people who may use cannabis legally are forced to do illegal things in order to obtain the medicine they need.
Sure, they could grow their own with a license to do that. Even this is problematic. They can't start the grow until they get this license, and then they have to wait months to get benefit from their grow.
How can this be fixed? Here is my 2 cents.
Reciprocal Medical Marijuana Law between New mexico and Colorado. Colorado has a well established Medical Marijuana Law and distribution system. Colorado and New Mexico share a common border, so licensed people would not be transporting across states that lack Medical Marijuana laws. So I don't see what the problem would be. This would allow people who can't obtain MMJ through a licensed grower here, due to lack of product, to purchase their meds in Colorado.

Lol, no if this were Afghanistan, we would be smokin the good shit. I like the Colorado idea, and I would be happy to put my signature on anything that gets us our meds. My lungs hurt from dirt weed.

At this point I'm just going to have to place my faith in the Paxil and plod on. The truly amazing thing is, I started this thread today and lo and behold I get an email AND a phone call from grassrootsrx. After weeks of trying to get in contact. I was fed up and realized that if this is type of service to expect, maybe it's better to go without the service. I told them thanks, but no thanks.

These 4 states accept other states' registry ID cards:
Maine and Rhode Island (only for the conditions approved in that state)
Michigan
Montana
There's 4 out of 14. It isn't quite reciprocal, but I bet if any of these 4 states were closer to New Mexico people here would gladly make the drive. :hippy:
Oh yeah! They need to drop the requirement of a license to home grow. Only 2 of the 14 make it rough, New Jersey and New Mexico.

I would absolutely love having Colorado as a option,we share more than a border with them. What a blast it would be to able to go shopping in Denver and especially Boulder. Millions of places to medicate just 20min from humanity.
Ha in Boulder you are hard pressed to find a cigarette in the indoor "smoke rooms" but a puff a blue is your crave eh,no problem friend.
Great Idea Sam.

Issuing a Formal Complaint?
It was 2:00 AM, and I couldn't sleep. Nothing out of the ordinary there. While I was laying there, an idea came to me how to increase the supply. It may be ok to do this already. I don't know.
Any way, there are a bunch of people who have license to grow their own meds. Some of us need more meds for relief, other people need less. The amount a license will allow one to grow is fixed. :weedpoke:
Make a provision to the law that allows an individual grower to sell any excess they have to the large licensed growers, at cost. Then maybe there would be more on hand. I doubt there would be droves of people doing that, but any amount sold to the dispensaries would help. :joint1:
I've read of people donating marijuana to dispensaries in Washington state and California. Some of these dispensaries, I've read, even give some donated weed, for free, to card holders who need meds and are out of money.
Perhaps this could even cause the dispensaries to lower their price, but I doubt it.
There you have it. :hippy:

Issuing a Formal Complaint?
Lets bombard the Gov's office with emails and Phone calls.
I dont mean 5 calls but hundreds, demanding medicine and 10 more producers ASAP!
We should call and email everyday until we get medicine.
