    stretched plant

my plant is 12 days old and im worried the stem is too skinny. I had the light too far away when it was younger and it stretched but then i moved the light closer.
What can i do to have a thicker stem?

What kind of light do you have?
If you've got a good light like a HID or fluorescents then the plant will grow normally now you've moved the light closer (should do).

Use a fan to blow across them gently. This will exchange the air under leafs and strengthen the stocks. If there is stretching then your light is to far away or your light does not have the correct light spectrum. IF you move the light closer you need to watch the temperature under the light at the top of your plants. Don't let it get to hot or you will be sorry.

yes fan would be cool. and strech the stem pretty gently everyday, to stress it a bit and it will get stronger, but watchout to not brake it.

I have 2 2ft Floros side by side with aluminum foil hanging off of the lights. Low budget as u can already tell.
