I have gotten high eating raw weed but the results are inconsistent. I can't offer any science, just observations. The drier the weed the better, like turn to dust when ground between your fingers, dry. I had some that had been left in my barn for the summer, it was too harsh to smoke and on a whim mixed it in a cup of yogurt ( joints worth) and was really impressed with the buzz. Also put some iN capsules and ate it that way, works fine for me. Now it does take some familiarity with the effects of oral vs smoking consumption. It is different, but I think very enjoyable and a great way to attend social functions where smoking can't happen.

Alcohol or fats will be absorbed into your system quicker than eating raw weed, but eating it raw does work.

Sprinkling it on other food means you have diluted the weed because your body has to break down the weed and whatever else you've eaten.
