Sprout question.
Hey I sprouted some seeds but my veg bulb burnt out. So I have been trying to veg them under my flowering light but it wasn't working. So I finally got enough money to buy another veg bulb. Anyhow they had been under the flowering bulb for about a week or so. They hadn't even started to sprout yet. I have the veg bulb in now and it has been about 4-5 days shouldn't I see a change?? Also do you think they are shot? Should I sprout more?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sprout question.
The flowering bulb should have worked. if they arent out of their seeds seems they are gone, get new seeds. but leave these, they could easily come back

Sprout question.
wait a sec..... your trying to germinate your seeds by putting them in dirt and giveing them light and water?
If this is the case it can take considerably longer to sprout than if you germinated in a paper towel or something of the like.
My advice to you is to get your seeds out of the dirt, place them in a sealed tupperwear container folded into a damp paper towel.
place them on the back of your PC monitor and make sure your monitor is running 24/7.
The heat and moisture will sprout your seeds, once they have sprouted put them in dirt. the sprout you see is the root and you should not touch it, take care in putting the seed in dirt, dont touch the root.
put some plactic wrap over the dixie cup and put under fluros, keep between 75-80 degrees.
use a 9 Oz or lrger dixie cup to sow in. the first main root goes down to about 10cm then stops and branches out. It is important that this root be allowed to go the full 10cm for the plants health.
within a few hours you will see condesation on the plastic wrap.... this is good... keep a close eye on them, they will be touching the plastic in no time at all...
After they touch the plastic you can remove it and let your sprout air out.... keep under florous till you get the second set of true leaves. then you can harden them to your veg and flower lights.
I hope this helps you out

Sprout question.
yea lol dude we call that germination. plus, if you plant em in wrong way, they will not grow properly, coz the stem will grow downside, and then it will have to come upside, so the stem will be kinda streched ive tried it and my plant sucked
