Your not a libertarian if you support the government taking over yet another industry. Libertarians by nature are for small or no government, them taking over the student loans does not equate to a smaller government.

There are far better ways of ending Corporate Welfare, mainly the government stepping the fuck aside.

Edit: Laissez-faire capitalism is the answer not a new government monopoly. How is it private monopolies are evil but government ones are acceptable?
