As I was getting out of my car, a young and very hurt dog approached me favoring his front left leg. He was hurting and beautiful. Instinctually, I wanted to load him up right away but my better senses prevailed and I told him that if he was still here when I was through shopping, I'd let him rest up at my pad. He was much too disciplined and handsome for his owner NOT to be looking for him. 45 or an hour later, he was still there waiting for me, so I brought him home. He had a compound fracture on his left front leg and his shoulder was out of place, plus (or minus) a lot of skin gone. I popped his shoulder back into place and put a cast on his leg. So... I named him "Lefty", and he's never gotten much more than 10 feet away from me in the last 18 months.

You just can't even buy loyalty like this!!!
