Where to grow?
I have five acres to grow on but I think that indoor sounds better. My husband says the land is free but I'm worried about pests and is'nt eaiser to grow indoors? I heard that you can harvest faster indoors. I have many questions and no answers. Please help!

IMO outdoors is the way to go. If you have the land and a good place to hide them. Lights and all the items needed to grow inside cost a good sum of cash. Sunlight is free. And there is no manmade light that can beat the sun.
Pest can show up in either grow. Outside you can spread them out and pests will miss some, unlike a grow room where the plants are right next to each other.
In a grow room a quarter lb plant is a good yield. Outside you can get 10 times that. Easily.
Both ways have their pros and cons. The one pro about inside is that you can start a couple of plants each week and have a controled harvest each week. Outside everything gets ready at around the same time. So harvest is madness. Also, unless you live in a tropical location you only get one season per year outside. Indoors is much more controled.
I've grown both ways and the quality of my outdoor smoke beats anything I have done inside. Keep in mind this is just my opinion. If I lived on the Mainland chances are I may feel differently.Wonderful Things Happen When You Plant The Seeds Of Distrust In A Garden Of Assholes

Outdoors organic is the best. Find a nice clearing in the woods and plant em up. the only thing is if you have an indoor set up you can do early flowering and weed the males before you put em out. i just start 20 and wait till flowering to pull the males, which is quite a bit of wasted energy depending on how much i have to water but its cool...good exercise. There are a lot of things to worry about outdoors (pests, animals, people, choppers) but theres plenty of problems indoors too. it does cost a hell of a lot less to get the same yeild though and unless you got hydro inside the buds are better outside in my opinion.

IMO If ya want to grow big then go with outdoors, if you only want to grow like 3 or 4 plants and be able to harvest like every 3 to 4 months then go with indoors. But like everyone above me has said it does cost a bit more to do it inside but its less work than growing outside but its a lil more diffacult inside also. You still need nutes and good soil for both grows but with growing outdoors you will have bigger yeilds. And if you have enough plants maybe a couple diff strains you will have alot of diff good smoke for the rest of the year untill next growing season. And will not have to grow 2 or 3 times a year to be able to have smoke without buying it, but you could also veg them inside over the winter and put them outside during spring. So by the time they flower and are ready to harvest you will have some massive trees.:jointsmile::stoned:
