    Plants need HELP PLEASE!!!!

They look stretched, hungry and overwatered. Filling out the troubleshooting form would help in getting everything fixed that needs to be. :thumbsup:http://boards.cannabis.com/plant-pro...ing-forms.html

Some of the experts are often in the plant problems section, so it's better to post there next time. I'm sure a mod will move this one over there soon

Ok sry just trying to get this fixed really stressing me out lol.

What is your experience level? (first timer, novice, experienced...)First Timer

    Your Equipment:
.1) Type and wattage of lights. (MH, HPS, CFL's, tube fluorescents, LED's)4-400w HPS each side of room.
    .2) Distance from tops?16-18inches
.3) Reflector type? (cool tube set-up, bat wing, enclosed reflector, bare bulb...)Batwing
.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply? No useing Co2
.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan?2 circulation fans
.6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule?400watts hps 18hours on

    Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil, (coco, peat based soilless...) and anything you've added to it. (vermiculite, perlite, worm castings...)Ok we got some regular top soil from Home depot. had some worm castings, bat Guano in it we added Perlite and Sphagnum moss.
.8) Size of container.2.8 liter 6inch squar pots
.9) Did you use peat pucks (or similar) to root clones or germinate seedlings?Germinated with papertowel then put into dirt.

    Your nutrients and water:
    10) Source of water? (tap, bottled or filtered) What's it's ph before adjusting? tap 7.8ph
    11) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...)Aquarium test kit.
    12) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...)PH down
    13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule. no feedings yet thaught they where too small just water so far.
    14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering?well i thaught i over watered them so they havent had water for awile but the pots still feal heavy and they not drooping like they need water so.
    15) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...)nope
    16) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate?so far stable.
    17) What is your ingoing water's ph? ...your runoff ph? used ph down on my water to make it to about 6.5 and its just about the same for runnoff.
    18) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray?

    Your growroom:
    19) Indoors or outdoors?indoors.
    20) What size of closet, room or hut?16ft x 12
    21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? ...With lights off?Lights on humidity around 45-50 and temps about 88-89 remember Co2 so little warmer.
    22) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom? Nope.

    Your strain:
    23) What strain are you growing? (Indica dominate or Sativa dom?)Hybrid i have thenames of a few Jack Heror, Blueberry, NYC Diesle,
    24) From seeds or clones?seeds
    25) Is this an autoflower strain? dont think so

You might have Nitrogen robbing soil, spangham moss will absort N big time and if your soil has not had time to sit and blend/cook a lilttle sometimes the ph will dive on you.

With the soild mix you describe the plants should not need any nutes yet, so my guess is you have lock out.

Replant in some better soild and get some BioTone Epsoma starter fertilizer.

Well how long dose it need to cook /blend not sure what u mean by that we watered the pots and let them sit for about a week before we put the seeds in them. watered them again then put the germinated seeds in them. I cant really afford to transplant them into better dirt. is there anyting else i could do ?

Hempsouth may be on to something there... although run-off is supposedly 6.5, how are you measuring this, with test strips or a pen?

Also, and maybe someone using co2 can back this up, but you want around 1200 to 1500 ppms CO2, 7500 lumens per square foot of light and temps around 90-95 with an enclosed setup. Your temps are probably ok, but not sure about the lights (400w = 55,000 lumens) and the CO2 def sounds really low.

    (sorry kept editing...)

well the plants only have 6hours of dark that is when they use there reserver they only use so much. When they get bigger and i go to 12-12 i will put it up to 1200ppm. I measure the runoff with test kit. Take the water that runs out and put in tube and add drops and mach up color, it sthe only thing i have to test it so far.

So wait ur telling me i have too much light lol ? I know i should of used cfl's starting them but they just streched a little bit but they will catch up. I hope.:wtf:

I see bark and lots of goodies in that soil that require N to breakdown, I used spangum mixed in real well once and it robbed all the N out of my soil. Probably the most economical fert you could get would be some fish fert either the liquid or powder and start supplementing and see how it goes from there.

If your soil was working correctly you should not have any yellowing this early with a new seedling.

Letting the soil sit takes a few weeks or a month to blend all the organisms and nutrients.

Alright didnt know about letting the soil sit for that long. i will get some of the fish fert and see what it dose.

No not too much light... light per square feet... 55,000 lumens in an hps divided by your square feet should equal more than 7,500 lumens per square foot. So the area of each corner of plants should be less than 8 sq. feet.

If the run-off you're measuring is tinted, the color tests will be skewed. In this case I run it through a coffee filter or paper towel until its clear.

    Hempsouth probably has your solution.
