    QUESTION

NAH...welcome....I would be steering you in the WRONG direction if I made direct comments as I am in the "infancy" stages on the medical cannabis program!

Here is an EXCELLENT resource for you to READ and ask questions on....it is the NM Administrative code that applies to production:

    New Rule<---Link to NMAC 7.34.4

Did you and your mother get approved for personal production? Remember, there are VERY strict regulations on that. Take a gander at the link and then see if your situation fits within that realm.

GOOD LUCK and I will try to answer what I can....

your mother would also need a production license and you would have to grow her stuff in her place with your own 'caregiver' card.

you can't grow stuff for her in your place and you can't grow your stuff at her place

you both must have your own production licenses and in order to help your mother grow at her place, you must have a caregiver license

    QUESTION

It makes no sense that two card holding people cannot help each other out like that, especially family! The more I learn about this program I realize what a clustermaphuck it is. In the beginning a person could legally use Cannabis but had NO legal access.:wtf:Baby steps I guess. Most everything I read about it just reinforces what I don't want to believe,NM politics is a g-damn joke, always has been.

It's best to change out the soil with each grow. You'll have residual nutrients in the soil that can damage or kill young seedlings/clones. Cannabis plants require a ph level between 6.3 to 6.7 for optimum growth and prevent hermies. If you go above or below this ph level for prolonged periods; your plants will experience what is called, "nutrient lockout." It will prevent your plants from getting the nutrients they needs to survive. You can use potting soil but nutrients are essential. Otherwise, your plant will starve to death before she can flower. You will also risk raising males or hermies.

Cannabis plants have few requirements but these requirements are absolute. Ph 6.3 to 6.7/temperature 70-76 degrees/consistent light cycles and make sure there are no light leaks during your dark cycles/As your plants grow, make sure you transplant to larger pots as you go. This is to prevent your plants from becoming root bound (this is bad).

O.k., I'll stop rambling now and go to sleep. I hope that helps.

Can't one flush out the soil and re-use it? Would even that be to risky? Maybe flush it out then save it for when your lil darlings need to be re-potted. :weedpoke:

    QUESTION

Flushing's what made me decide to go with Hydroponics, we just decided that soil would be too messy in a single family home.
Get seeds, learn to garden and take control of your medication.
