the mixture should be fine. i would use a 50/50 ratio due to the poor drainage of the compost. maybe even higher, that's up to you and your methods. an all purpose fert will be fine for your veg time but you'll want something with less nitrogen and more phosphorus and potassium for your flowering.

So what is a good flowering fertilizer? and ive decided on using westland multi purpose with added john innes for my soil mix ive heard this is pretty good and also that i shouldn't have to use perlite just the soil mix on its own

i'm not too sure of a single product i would recommend. i use the "roots organics" line and it consists of 7 fertilizer blends, not to mention their tricoderm products and their own soil blend. some people say it's not worth the added money for the "specialty" fertilizers. i say they spent the time and money to perfect their formulas so you don't have to. i'm sure i could get the same results for cheaper but the results i'm getting are delicious. good luck with whichever road you choose.

go with a Botinacare Pure blend pro Bloom soil mix~for flower it is a good stand alone nutrient and has the right ratio of npk for a successful bloom and its mostly organic so your end product will tase better
