use the organic choise one not the regular potting mix.they contain way to much ferts and will most likely kill your seedlings..i use the organic choice with excellent results.

What do you mean by the organic choice there isnt a organic choice of this perticular product, can you give me a soil recipe and also can i use a all purpose fert for veg and flowering stages?

You should be fine. Ive completed a few grows using MG potting mix before. Even germinated seedlings in MG and no burn to seedlings. Might be strain dependant though.

Ive used MG potting soil mixed with MG perlite as well!

Its not the best soil but it works.

Ive actually heard the opposite... that the MG organic soil is too hot for seedlings.. Dont know because ive never used organic MG.

i grew my purple kush in miracle grow and it turned out fine. just water the plant every 3 days and your good.:thumbsup:

Miracle Grow potting soil is fine. As with all mediums and nutrients, it will take getting used to.

Kudo's to those that didn't knee-jerk a negative response to MG soils. :thumbsup:

For soil mix advice check the AWESOME http://boards.cannabis.com/basic-gro...ankness-5.html. It is worth a read (or two) if you haven't already seen it. Search for "soil" within the thread. Good advice there on nutes, watering, humidity, etc.
