I know for a fact, i'm not going to want my kids smoking until at least after their junior year. anytime sooner (i think) is much to soon. Now i know there are many of you that can smoke and not "head down that road". For me, i began to smoke and i headed down the wrong road. My life is really bad right now. And i don't want my kids to fall fool to the desire of being high. God my life sucks so much right now. I'm Rating: 5

I don't have kids, but if I did I wouldn't want them to start until they were about 17 or 18. Just as long as they don't mess up their lives. I tell them that smoking weed more for recreation rather than something to do all the time. ( That last statement sounds strange coming from me considering I smoke everyday.) Basically I just want them to be careful with it and not get into any hard drugs like meth, crack, etc.

I hope my son is like me and maybe dosent smoke till in his 20's so he can grow into a big man.If he tries it i hope that he tells me about it so i can try and lead him on the right path.I tried it at 15 had 2 cones and was so wasted i hated it i was sick.As a matter of fact i hope that he dosent smoke at all and becomes someone to make a difference in the world.If we dont look after our kids and lead them on the right path who will ?

You almost sound like you think Cannabis is bad... or is it that you don't want him to have a bad trip... maybe i just read it wrong.

i owuld hope around 16 it would be before they even thought about trying weed. but as long as they go to school, work, and dont let it consume their lives, a little smoking isnt that bad. i'd tell them about my past, and what not to do in terms of my fuck ups.

i have 3 kids 2 sons 13 and a duaghter 11 and i refuse to lie to any of them about anything espeically drugs when i feel they are old enough they will be permitted to smoke with me and their mothers but their friends cant smoke with us till they are of age becuase ya just cant trust them to not tell their parents telling a kid that cannibis is as dangerous as cocaine or heroin is just as stupid as stupid gets we already had the DARE program removed from the schools my kids attend because of the blatant lie's being told to the children by these lowlife a^&*holes in 30+ years of smoking cannibis i have never seen any one OD from using weed on the other hand ive attended countless funeral's of freind's who died from cocaine and heroin and alcohol do your kids a favor dont lie to them give them facts not fiction and exagerated horror stories encourage them to find these things out for their selves and let them make there own decisions right or wrong thats the only way they will learn peace jim

I think i'll tell my children that you will have decisions right and left your whole life. And they really start become a burden as you get older. And each choice is either the right choice, or the wrong choice. Many times, as in doing bad stuff, the wrong choice is to not do it. To think carefully about each choice you make. And understand the consequences of each choice made.
