Nitrogen def or too much light?

I am trying to identify what is the problem. They are under the 600 w HPS from two days and yesterday i move the lamp 1 feet away. The lamp now is two feets away. I fed them today with half strength veg nutes pH 6.3. Curious thing is that i measure the runoff water and is 7.5-8 pH?! Temps 24-25 C day and 20-21 C night RH 50-60 %. Any ideas?

runoff ph can be deceiving...most imortant what is the soil ph...do you have one of those prod type ph meters for your soil?

i would check that first...then i would maybe add cal-mag but get your soil reading before adding anything..that will point you in the direction to go:thumbsup:

I will definitely but i don't think it is the pH. I mean the soil is new they are in from 10 days and I didn't fed them until today. I always water with pHed water 6.3. The problem seem very much like this. If this is deficiency what type is it, doesn't look like N (but again i am not experienced with defs this is my second grow)? Sh*t i dont wanna mes my plants. Its a beautyfull Trainwreck pheno that i choose from 10 seeds i am growing at different location. I know that strain loves a lot of nutrients because the other babes take like 2.2 - 2.3 EC without problem. I haven't fed them for like 10 days because i figure out that the soil mix should provide enough for the first week So can be nutrients def i don't know that is why i am asking you guys.
And here is some pics from the another TW 6 weeks in flowering
Anyway on the topic - Any help will be appreciated !

if using good soil which looks as if you do...they do not need feed for at least 3 weeks...i would recommend getting a ph meter to read your soil....then you can diagnose your issue much better....throwing whatever at it can only compound your problem...but if your ph is in range of 6.3-6.8 then i would give a small dose of cal mag and be patient and do not overwater.....stick your finger in the soil to your second knuckle and if you feel moisture do not water...alot of the good probe ph meters will also have moisture meter on it!

What are you using to measure pH? To see runoff numbers jump so high is odd, to say the least. I doubt those numbers.

Have you seen the troubleshooting form that is posted as a sticky? You should fill it out if you want anything more than just "guesswork" from the board. There are a lot of knowledgeable folks here, the more info you provide the more accurately your troubles can be diagnosed.
